My Journey
My journey into dog grooming began over 20 years ago, when I first trained as a professional dog groomer. I then spent many fulfilling years working as a district nurse while raising my family, developing the compassion, patience, and attention to detail that continue to shape the care I provide today.
Driven by my lifelong passion for dogs, I recently returned to my original calling, achieving a Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. Combining my healthcare experience with professional grooming expertise allows me to offer a calm, gentle, one-to-one experience where every dog receives personalised care and leaves looking and feeling
paw-sitively their best.

Pearl and Paws Groom Room is named in loving memory of my grandmother, Pearl, whose kindness, warmth, and caring nature continue to inspire everything I do. Combined with my lifelong love of dogs, the name reflects the values at the heart of my grooming salon—compassion, trust, patience, and treating every dog as if they were part of the family.
